1. Terms of Use

Who can use this service

AP CSA Practice is an educational platform for students preparing for the AP Computer Science A exam. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please use a strong, unique password. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of someone else without their consent.

Acceptable use

You agree to use this service only for its intended educational purpose. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any test content, interfere with the service, or use automated tools to access or scrape the platform.

Payments

Some tests require a one-time purchase to unlock. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final — we do not offer refunds unless required by applicable law. Once a test is unlocked, access is permanent and tied to your account.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms. You may request deletion of your account at any time from your Profile page.

Disclaimer

This service is provided "as is" for educational purposes. We make no guarantees about exam outcomes or scores. Test content is created to help students study and may not perfectly reflect the current AP exam format.

2. Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you create an account we collect your name and email address. When you take tests we store your answers, scores, and progress. If you purchase a premium test, payment is handled by Stripe — we store only a record of which tests you have purchased, not your full card details.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to operate this service: to log you in, track your test progress, send you account-related emails (such as password resets and purchase confirmations), and allow your teacher to view your results. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email communications

By creating an account you may receive transactional emails such as welcome messages, password reset links, and access grant notifications. Your teacher may also contact you through the platform. You will not receive marketing emails from third parties.

Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile page. Deleted data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

This service is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account promptly.

GDPR (European users)

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may exercise these rights by deleting your account from the Profile page or by contacting us directly. Our legal basis for processing your data is the performance of our service contract with you.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and is deleted when you log out or close your browser. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt). Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data.
